I recently had the pleasure of visiting Michelle at Layers inside Hillsborough Salon Studios, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and comfortable. Michelle is not only incredibly skilled but also listens carefully to what you want and offers great suggestions based on your hair type and lifestyle.

The salon itself is clean and relaxing. The staff is friendly and professional, making sure every client feels valued. I especially appreciated how Michelle took the time to explain each step of the process and provided tips on how to maintain my new look at home.

My haircut/color/style turned out even better than I had imagined. I have received so many compliments, and I owe it all to Michelle's expertise and creativity. Ms. Michelle with Layers is PHENOMENAL at what she does!! I'm so blessed that God brought her into my path and will continue to visit her for my hair and many more services. She took my weathered faded strawberry blonde hair and made my red explode. To say she is gifted is an understatement

“No more bad hair days”

Highly recommend Michelle for updos & formal occasions. She came to our home before high school prom & did hair for 3 girls (all who happen to have a LOT of hair!) She did a beautiful job guiding them to what would work well with their hair texture/type as well as bringing their inspiration photos to life. The results were stunning - definitely beautiful enough for a bride. The girls were thrilled. Michelle is also fun, enthusiastic & casual. The girls were tentative about this new experience. She put them all at ease & fit in perfectly with our special event. Highly recommend! Well worth hiring a professional. We could never have gotten the hair even close to what she did. Beautiful! The professional updo really pulled the entire outfit together.
